This walk around West Hampstead NW6 concentrates on the varied music connections of this special area. It starts at West End Green near where Joan Armatrading and the inspirer of 'Ruby Tuesday' lived, and ends at the the Railway pub, once home to Klook's Kleek and the Moonlight club where countless jazz and blues bands played, and next to the former Decca studios where the Beatles auditioned (and were turned down). Other stops cover the many musicians of all kinds who made West Hampstead their home. The walk lasts around 1 hour 30 mins,

The walk is in support of the chosen charities of the Mayor of Camden, Cllr Nazma Rahman, the Young Camden Foundation and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme. The Mayor will attend the walk.
