Our walk starts at Hanwell Railway Station (Elizabeth Line), and goes past the home of a Royal Academy painter. Next onto Wharncliffe Viaduct, Brunel’s original masterpiece set in Brent Lodge Park, a favourite with royalty. Here we see Hanwell’s war memorial, millennium maze and popular Zoo. We also visit St Mary’s church, designed by Gilbert Scott (Albert Hall and Memorial) and a nearby thatched cottage, two of Hanwell’s oldest buildings. En route to Hanwell Broadway we discover Hanwell’s links with Hollywood and rock’n’roll.

Booking (free) is essential. To book, go to the Eventbrite page.

Contact Chris via email, webform for more information. We will collect envelope donations to Home-Start Ealing and we ask a minimum of £10 from waged people.
